Ada Limón’s first book, Lucky Wreck, was the winner of the Autumn House Poetry Prize. Her second book, This Big Fake World, was the winner of the Pearl Poetry Prize. She is at work on a third book of
poems dealing mainly with rivers, sharks, and how to live in the world. With an
MFA from NYU in creative writing, she’s won the Chicago Literary Award for Poetry and has received fellowships from
the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the New York Foundation for the
Arts. Individual poems have appeared in, The Iowa Review, Barrow Street, Gulf
Coast, Barrelhouse, Coconut, Painted Bride Quarterly, American Poet, Poetry
Daily, The Chicago Review, Slate Magazine, Spoon River Review, Tarpaulin Sky,
and others.
